Find answers to common queries about our wedding film services.
How do we check your availability?
The best way to start is by getting in touch to let us know your wedding date and venue. If I’m available and you’re happy to proceed, I’ll email you a booking form with all the details.
How do we secure our booking?
Once you’ve completed the booking form, a £200 deposit is required to secure your wedding date. The remaining balance is due two weeks before the wedding day.
Do we also need a photographer?
Yes. Wedding photography is booked separately, and you’ll need to arrange your own photographer. I’m very used to working alongside photographers and always work discreetly to ensure we complement each other on the day.
Will we meet before the wedding?
Yes. Closer to the wedding, we’ll arrange a meeting to talk through the order of the day, timings, and anything important you’d like me to be aware of. This helps everything run smoothly and ensures your film reflects what matters most to you.
What time do you arrive on the wedding day?
I usually arrive at the bridal preparations around 1.5 hours before the ceremony. This allows time to capture the atmosphere, details, and those quieter moments before the day begins.
How do you film the bridal preparations?
I film the preparations in a discreet and unobtrusive way, allowing everything to happen naturally. There’s no staging or pressure — just real moments as they unfold.
Do you film the groom’s preparations as well?
Depending on locations and timings, I’m often able to capture the groom’s preparations too. This can be discussed in advance and planned around what works best on the day.
Do you film the wedding ceremony in full?
Yes. The wedding ceremony is filmed in full, so nothing is missed.
What happens if the weather isn’t great?
Weddings don’t always come with perfect weather — and that’s absolutely fine. Whatever the conditions, I’ll always make it work and adapt my approach on the day. It’s one of the most important days of your lives, and I’ll never add pressure or negativity. My focus is on capturing genuine moments and telling your story, whatever the weather brings.
How do we receive our wedding films?
Your completed wedding films are presented on USB drives, making them easy to watch, share, and keep safe. You will typically receive three USBs — one for yourselves and one for each side of the family.
Do you capture guests and natural moments?
Absolutely. Alongside the key moments, I focus on filming guest interactions, reactions, and the atmosphere of the day, including the moments in between.
What equipment do you use to film weddings?
I use professional filmmaking equipment throughout the day, including stabilised camera systems for smooth movement, 4K cameras, and high-quality microphones for clear audio during the ceremony and speeches. This allows me to film discreetly while maintaining a polished, cinematic look.
Do you stay for the first dance?
Yes. Depending on your package, coverage includes the first dance, followed by a little extra filming to capture the feel of the evening celebrations.
Do we feed you during the day?
Not at all — it’s never expected, however, if a meal is offered, it’s always appreciated.
What if we need something slightly different?
Every wedding is different. Bespoke arrangements are always available, and I’m happy to discuss additional coverage or tailored options to suit your plans.
If you have any questions that aren’t answered here, please feel free to get in touch. I’m always happy to help.
